Notification List
Click Notifications in the sidebar to see all your notifications in one place. Each notification card shows:
- Its title
- The notification type (Bubble or Textbox)
- Whether it's currently active or inactive
- View and click statistics
Toggling Active Status
You can quickly turn notifications on or off without deleting them. Just click the toggle switch on any notification in your list.
When you toggle a notification inactive:
- It immediately stops appearing on your website
- All analytics data is preserved
- You can reactivate it at any time
When you toggle it back to active:
- It starts appearing on your website again right away
- No code changes needed on your website
This is useful for:
- Temporarily pausing a promotion that has ended
- Running notifications only during specific time periods
- Testing without permanently affecting your visitors
Editing Notifications
To make changes to an existing notification:
- Click the Edit button on the notification card
- Modify any settings you want to change (content, colors, position, dimensions, CTA, etc.)
- Click Save to apply your changes
Changes take effect immediately on your website. Visitors will see the updated notification on their next page load without any code changes needed.
Deleting Notifications
To permanently remove a notification:
- Click the Delete button on the notification card
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
Deleting a notification is permanent and cannot be undone. All analytics data (views and clicks) for that notification will also be removed. If you think you might want the notification back later, consider toggling it inactive instead of deleting it.
Best Practices
- Keep it focused: Having 1 to 3 active notifications at a time gives the best visitor experience. Too many notifications can feel overwhelming.
- Rotate your content: Update notifications regularly to keep things fresh for returning visitors.
- Use the preview: Always check the live preview when editing to make sure everything looks right before saving.
- Archive instead of delete: Toggle notifications inactive instead of deleting them so you can reuse successful messaging later.
- Match your brand: Keep colors and fonts consistent across your notifications so they feel like a natural part of your website.
There's no limit to how many notifications you can create. Create as many as you need and toggle them active or inactive based on your current campaigns and priorities.
