What Are Bubble Notifications?

Bubble notifications appear as a small floating icon on your website. When a visitor clicks the icon, it expands into a full notification panel with your content.

They are perfect for messages that don't need to interrupt the visitor immediately. The bubble sits quietly in the corner until someone decides to click on it.

Bubble Styles

You can choose from three different bubble styles:

Style	Description	Best For
Circle	A round floating icon	Clean, modern look
Rounded	A square shaped icon with rounded corners	Bolder visual presence
Pill	A text based badge that shows a short message	When you want to show a teaser

Choosing an Icon

For Circle and Rounded styles, you can pick from a wide selection of icons including:

• Bell, Star, Heart, Rocket
• Shopping Cart, Gift, Megaphone
• Lightning, Fire, Sparkles
• Info, Help, Chat, Mail
• And many more

The icon gives visitors a visual hint about what the notification contains. For example, use a megaphone for announcements, a gift for promotions, or a bell for general updates.

Pill Text

When using the Pill style, you can set custom text that appears on the badge. This is great for short messages like:

• "New!"
• "Sale"
• "Update"
• "Important"

If your text is longer than 20 characters, it will be trimmed automatically with "..." to keep things tidy.

Default Open

By default, visitors need to click the bubble to see your content. But you can enable Default Open to have the notification panel expanded automatically when the page loads.

This is useful when you have something important you want every visitor to see right away, while still giving them the ability to close it.

How Views Are Tracked

For bubble notifications, a view is recorded when a visitor opens the notification panel, not when they see the floating icon. This gives you accurate engagement data that reflects genuine interest.
